Technical Disclosure
Protocols governing sample collection, preparation, analysis, and data verification for Big Gold Inc.'s Ontario exploration programs. All work conducted under the supervision of a Qualified Person.
Protocols
01 / Sample Collection
Grab samples collected by or under direct supervision of a licensed P.Geo. Sample weights target 1.5–3.0 kg. Each sample assigned a unique field tag recorded in a physical field book and digital database. Sample locations recorded by handheld GPS (sub-5m accuracy).
02 / Sample Preparation
Samples placed in sealed poly bags with a paper tag inside and an external tag outside. Samples packaged in rice bags secured with numbered security seals. Chain of custody documentation accompanies each shipment to the analytical laboratory. Samples shipped by bonded courier.
03 / Analytical Methods
Gold analysis by fire assay with ICP-AES or atomic absorption (AA) finish on a 30 g pulp split (Au-AA24 or equivalent). Samples with Au values exceeding 5 g/t subject to re-assay using screen fire assay (metallics). Multi-element geochemistry by aqua regia digest with ICP-MS finish where applicable.
04 / Standards & Controls
Certified reference material (CRM) standards, blanks, and field duplicates inserted at a minimum rate of one per ten samples (10%). CRMs sourced from an accredited reference material supplier with published accepted values. Blank material verified to contain <0.01 g/t Au prior to use. Failures trigger re-assay of affected sample batches.
Chain of Custody
All samples collected in the field are logged, bagged, and sealed by qualified field personnel before being transferred to a bonded courier for delivery to the analytical laboratory. Big Gold personnel maintain custody of all samples until they are received and signed for by the laboratory.
Laboratory receipt confirmations and assay certificates are retained in the company's digital data management system. Raw assay data is verified against the laboratory's certified reports prior to disclosure.
Analytical Laboratory
[ Laboratory name to be updated when contracted ]
Samples are submitted to an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited analytical laboratory independent of Big Gold Inc. The laboratory is selected based on demonstrated proficiency in gold fire assay and multi-element ICP analysis for Ontario geology types.
